Pierre Nelson is Vice President, Corporate Controller for Empire State Realty Trust. Mr. Nelson oversees the accounting for ESRT’s Corporate G&A departments, Treasury Accounting & Managed Assets. He is responsible for the management of all banking products & services and also serves as the point person for all cash management and banking relationships for the company. He joined ESRT in 2006 after previously working at The Related Companies, Bowne, Inc. and LW Mitchell CPA Firm.
A career highlight has been his work assisting in implementation of cash management structure and processes around Corporate G&A accounting & reporting and banking. He was heavily involved in the accounting consolidation of ESRT entities during the IPO process.
Mr. Nelson received his Bachelor’s of Business Administration and has 28 years of combined public/private accounting experience.
