Lauren Rothman is the Portfolio Manager for Empire State Realty Trust. Ms. Rothman is responsible for the overall operational and financial goals of 111 West 33rd Street, 501 7th Avenue, and One Grand Central Place.
Prior to joining ESRT, she oversaw 18 million square feet of prestigious Class A assets in New York City, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania at Tishman Speyer for 17.5 years. She previously served as the opening General Manager for the brand-new construction of The Spiral in Hudson Yards, spearheaded the disposition of 200 Park Avenue, and worked on large capital projects, such as decommissioning a cogeneration plant that provided 70% of power to 11 West 42nd Street to bring in new electrical service. She has worked on the city’s most iconic assets, including Rockefeller Center, the Chrysler Building, Hearst Tower, and the MetLife Building.
Ms. Rothman holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from the University of Maryland. She is a Real Property Administrator (RPA) and a LEED Green Associate. She specializes in analyzing, addressing, and reversing inefficiencies, optimizing organizational controls, driving cost savings, and delivering continuous improvements and innovation to enhance property operations with a hospitality mindset.
