Ghirardelli Opens Its First-Ever New York Store at the Empire State Building!

The brand-new Empire State Building location pays homage to the company’s San Francisco roots with a touch of New York glamor. The classic Ghirardelli marquee sign shines from the windows at the entrance of the new store, where guests are greeted by a pick & mix bar of Ghirardelli’s iconic chocolate squares and the smell of freshly made chocolate.

No trip to Ghirardelli is complete without one of its fan-favorite hot fudge sundaes. The new store at the Empire State Building features 13 specialty sundae choices for guests, which include its original World–Famous Hot Fudge Sundae with Ghirardelli’s handmade milk chocolate hot fudge, two scoops of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chopped and toasted almonds, and a Ghirardelli chocolate square topped off with a maraschino cherry.

Sip on something sweet with Ghirardelli’s signature shakes and hot cocoa. The New York store offers shakes in a range of flavors which include Caramel Quake, Chocolate Lover’s, and Nob Hill Chill, and hot beverages like Classic and Sea Salt Caramel hot cocoas. 

To celebrate the store’s grand opening, Ghirardelli will give away FREE hot fudge sundaes to the first 102 guests who visit on Aug. 6. All guests who visit between 2-6 pm can purchase a mini sundae for $5.
